LIGHT RIGID COURSE

Summary

This is a one-day course conducted from Deer Park with successful students obtaining a Light Rigid Licence endorsement.

Major Elements include

• Road Law and regulations.
• On-road practical driving.
• Safe and economical vehicle operation.
• Reversing Skills.
• Defensive Driving Instruction.
• Driver Attitude.

Testing

On completion of their training students shall then sit for their Licence Test.
The test is broken down into three components.

1. On Road Driving Test.
2. Off Road Reversing Skill.
3. Theory Test based on the Victorian Bus & Truck Hand Book.

Barkly Driving School will issue successful students with a Certificate of Competence. The student must present this certificate to a Vic Roads Office to have their licence endorsed.

 Costs

$480.00 per student for one-day course [6hrs].
