Heavy Combination Course (Automatic Gear Box)
Summary
This course is conducted over ONE DAY from our Deer Park Driver Training Centre with successful students obtaining a Heavy Combination Licence endorsement. Training will be conducted in a heavy combination vehicle equipped with a Automatic Gearbox.
Major Course Elements include
- Road law and regulations
- On-road practical driving
- System of vehicle control
- Safe and economical vehicle operation
- Reversing skills
- Coupling & uncoupling skills.
- Defensive driving instruction
- Driver attitude
- Licence test assessment
- Ratio of training - one student per instructor
Testing
On completion of their training students shall then sit for their Licence Test. The test is broken down into three components.
- On Road Driving Test.
- Off-Road Reversing Skill.
- Off- Road Coupling skill.
Barkly Driving School will issue successful students with a Certificate of Competence. The student must present this certificate to a Vic Roads Office to have their licence endorsed.
(Please note Vic Roads will not endorse your car licence unless a primary proof of ID is shown eg: Passport or Birth Certificate )

Course 1 day: $990.00
Vic Roads Licence Fee: $25.00
Vic Bus & Truck Hand Book if applicable: $10.00
This is a Vic Roads approved Licence Accreditation Course.
