A rigid vehicle with two axles:
Must have held a driver licence for at least 12 months.
Any 2 axle vehicle, including truck and bus, greater than 8 tonnes GVM.
Must have held a driver licence for at least 12 months.
Any rigid vehicle with 3 or more axles, including truck and buse, greater than 8 tonnes.
Must have held a driver licence for at least 24 months.

Prime mover/single semi or HR plus trailer greater than 9 tonnes GVM.
Must have held a driver licence for at least 24 months including MR or HR licence for
at least 12 months.

A Heavy Combination vehicle with more than one trailer.
You are eligible for a Multi Combination licence after 1 year of holding a Heavy Combination or a Heavy Rigid vehicle licence. You must also successfully complete an approved Multi Combination training course.
